Marcus Miller
Marcus is an investor and project developer with extensive African experience spanning almost 40 years. He is the Founder and Managing Director of CleanPower Generation GmbH in Germany (CPG). CPG’s value chain ranges from the identification and evaluation of future plant sites, engineering and planning, project financing as well as plant construction and operation. Through CPG, Marcus specialises in developing on- and off-grid solutions, as well as minigrids, in order to bring technology not only to the urban but also to the rural areas. As an entrepreneur, his forte is providing services that address different customer requirements. Marcus is currently developing a 80MW Utility-Scale Solar project in the Republic of Guinea a project costing ca US$80M and which is supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), the German development agency that provides services in the field of international development cooperation.
