Ernest Nyarko

Ernest is a finance and investment professional with over 27-years’ experience, and extensive exposure to Infrastructure Development and Private Equity, Pension Fund Management, and Privatization.
As a senior fund management executive at leading infrastructure funds in South Africa and Nigeria, he played leading roles in sourcing and executing projects in the energy, transport, and telecom sectors amounting to US$2.5 Billion. Earlier, he headed Equity Investments at SSNIT (Ghana’s national pension fund) where he managed a US$600M portfolio spanning infrastructure, financial services, and other sectors, having earlier worked as a Senior Investment Manager at Fidelity Capital Partners, the private equity division of Fidelity Bank in Ghana.
Ernest has published articles on finance and investment in globally renowned journals. He has a master’s degree in Economics with Finance from the University of Oslo, a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Ghana and an ACCA certificate. He has also been certified as a Representative by the Financial Services Board of South Africa.
